Sadikova initially faced much prejudice as a woman performing in the conservative southern area of the former Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic.〔 Nonetheless, she eventually became the leader of the Kyrgyz national folk music and dance ensemble “Kambarkan”.〔"(Caucasus music-Silk Road )."
